2002

               I've become football fan in 2002, during world cup 2002. Thats time I give my support to England where two of my favourite player playing for that nation , Michael Owen and David Beckham. Because of them I knew Liverpool FC and Manchester United FC, because of them I knew other player such as Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Rivaldo, Totti, Buffon, Oliver Khan, Ballack and Klose and because of them I knew other big club in european football later.

               During the world cup....


               In 2002, the world cup was held in asia for the first time in its history.It was hosted by Japan and Korea and since then the world start to realised that asian also have lots of talented player. Now we can see the like of Kagawa, Park Chu Young, Honda, Park Ji Sung and so on playing for a big club in europe, I'm proud to be asian :)

               Althought Korea and Japan is the host, playing infront of their own fan, in their own land doesn't mean they have advantages to win the World Cup. Other big team like Italy, Germany, Argentina and Brazil always the choice. My family give their support to Brazil and I'm the only one whom support England, and I wonder why? haha

               Unfortunate for me England was defeated by Brazil despite Michael Owen scored the opening goal, so I choose to support Germany as my team to win the tournement and they done it brilliantly by reaching the final stage against Brazil  at International Stadium Yokohama . I really hope Miroslav Klose and Oliver Khan would be enough to defeat Brazil.

               But thing just didn't go the way I hope, the genius Ronaldo with the help from extraordinary Rivaldo destroy Germany and beating Oliver Khan twice as Brazil defeat Germany 2-0. I was so devastated and my family had the final laugh haha. Poor Klose and Khan. But it was a fantastic game, tournement and I couldn't wait for the next world cup edition.

               So congrate again Brazil, its been 10 years since that famous victory and right now I'm waiting for the next one that will be held in Brazil, 2014 edition. This time like always I will give my full support to England, no Beckham and Owen but could still have Steven Gerrard , Captain Fantastic haha
